What's New...
This just in, we have four members signed up for Red Cross training next week. Anyone wanting to sign up for Red Cross and train with us, attend next weeks meeting. Remember we meet on Tuesday night at 18:30. See you there.
Bowling Green and Fort Campbell is planning a SLS and CLC training in Bowling Green on 19-21 Sept 2008. We will be completing both classes during this weekend. The POCs will be Capt Chris Miller and Lt Col Mike Bryant. A Form 17 will be submitted to Capt Miller by 06 Sept 2008. Everyone from KY and TN Wings are invited. We had a good turn out on 18-20 Jul 2008. The CampCurry produced one Curry Award and a Armstrong Award. We flew three O-rides and completed a BCUT class. The Kentucky Wing Conference was well recieved by our members and we had a total of 10 members and three guests. One of the guest has started the paperwork to join the squad. We hope to have new members and old members returning after the summer break. We always welcome new and transfer members. Our squad works on ES Comm and Ground Team tasking. If you are interested in flying for CAP, please come to one of our meetings.
New members in Elizabethtown
We now have a small group of cadets in Elizabethtown that are meeting monthly and we would like to thank Capt. Chris Miller for taking on the responsibility of training those cadets and being the acting commander of the flight. If you are interested in joining the Elizabethtown flight, please contact Capt.
